August 2012 &#8211; Fahrt zum Belum Rainforest Resort"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Von Penang fuhren wir \u00fcber Kuplang auf dem East-West-Highway Richtung Osten. Auf diese Strecke waren wir besonders gespannt, denn sie f\u00fchrt durch quer durch den Dschungel Malaysia&#8217;s und quert einige Stauseen. Die Strasse war sehr gut und wir kamen schnell voran. An einem dieser Seen hatten wir ein Zimmer im Belum Rainforest Resort f\u00fcr 3 N\u00e4chte reserviert. Das Resort lag am Stausee Tasik Temengot, bei dessen Anlage riesige Dschungelfl\u00e4chen \u00fcberflutet wurden. An der Strasse konnten wir riesige Urwaldh\u00e4nge sehen, leider aber auch immer wieder Holz-Sattelschlepper, die zeigten, dass auch in diesem Waldgebiet B\u00e4ume geschlagen werden. Wir bekamen ein sch\u00f6nes Zimmer und hatten mal wieder das Ramadan-Problem. In diesem Fall hatte die K\u00fcche f\u00fcr die Ausl\u00e4nder zwar ge\u00f6ffnet, aber es gab nur ein einziges Gericht. Na ja, besser als hungern. Noch am Abend vereinbarten wir eine Bootstour und eine Wanderung im Dschungel. Die Bootstour sollte uns zu einer Insel bringen, auf der die Ureinwohner Malaysia&#8217;s ein Dorf hatten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 herum gab es viel zu sehen, Affen kreischten in den B\u00e4umen, ein Wespennest, einen schwarzen Hundertf\u00fcssler, Rattanpalmen mit ihren grossen Dornen und Dattelpalmen mit wahren Wasserf\u00e4llen von Fr\u00fcchten s\u00e4umten die Wege zum Bungalow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-2 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex
