Dezember 2011 &#8211; Munnar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nach dem Fru\u0308hstu\u0308ck verliessen wir das Hausboot und fuhren durch die tolle Berglandschaft hinauf ins 1500 m hoch gelegene Munnar (170 km, 5 Stunden). Nach dem Ritt durften wir dem Tier einige Leckereien in Form von Fr\u00fcchten direkt ins Maul schieben. So nah waren einem Elefanten noch nie gekommen. Inzwischen bereuen wir diese Aktion, Elefanten werden in Indien oft sehr schlecht behandelt und diese Touristenattraktion sollte man nicht besuchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery sahen wir die Teeplantagen mit ihrem unwirklich aussehenden Gr\u00fcn. Fast mannshohe B\u00fcsche soweit das Auge reicht, enge Wege zwischen den B\u00fcschen und Menschen, die die Teebl\u00e4tter ernteten. Es ging dann weiter zum Olive Brook (www.olivebrookmunnar.com), indem wir 2 \u00dcbernachtungen in einem Cottage gebucht hatten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped uns etwas die Beine zu vertreten. Wir gingen etwas die Strasse entlang und entdeckten Kardamompflanzen. Als wir sp\u00e4ter nachfragten, wurde uns erkl\u00e4rt, dass im ganzen Gebiet fr\u00fcher sehr viel Kardamom angebaut wurde. Als die Marktpreise f\u00fcr Kardamom fielen, lohnte sich der Anbau nicht mehr. Die Pflanzen wurden nicht mehr gepflegt und die Fr\u00fcchte wurden nicht mehr geerntet. Zur\u00fcck am Hotel erz\u00e4hlte man uns, dass wilde Elefanten \u00f6fters durch die Teeplantagen streichen und man sich abends besser nicht dort aufhalten sollte. Nochmals Gl\u00fcck gehabt. Unsere Recherche im Internet ergab, dass es sich um ein Nachtschattengew\u00e4chs (vermutlich <i>Solanum viarum<\/i>) handelte.
